With just a week to go preparations are well underway for the first RHS Chatsworth Flower Show 2017 … our cottages are fully booked, we hope our guests are as excited as we are.
The Experience Peak District garden designer Lee Bestall won a silver medal at Chelsea this month (in our opinion he was robbed!) so we are hoping he’s awarded GOLD at Chatsworth … no pressure.
Lee was chosen to design the ‘Experience Peak District & Derbyshire Garden’ at RHS Chatsworth and the garden will be one of a series of show gardens that will be visited by tens of thousands of visitors to the new RHS show, taking place in the grounds of Chatsworth House from 7 to 11 June.
We have everything crossed for good weather, I’ve bought a selfie stick just in case we meet some ‘celebs’ and the sunscreen is ready hope you are too.
We haven’t see the BBC programme schedules for next week but are hoping for some decent coverage of this mega event … who knows we may even get on TV… I know, it’s a scary thought isn’t it.
We’ll be there with our camera so if you miss it we’ll be posting photos as the week goes on and don’t forget RHS Chatsworth will be repeated again in 2018 so you can book your tickets and cottage soon.
