Winster Village Stores – Winster
Our very own community shop – for those who listen to the Archers, the Ambridge shop was based on Winsters except we don’t have a Susan Carter!! (if you knew the programme it’d make sense!!) The shop sell newspapers, off license, fresh bread and all the produce you’d expect to find in a corner shop.. oh, and the Post Office is there too.

Bakewell Farmers Market – Bakewell
Held the last Saturday of the month – this used to be the 2nd largest farmers market in the country, I’m not sure if this is still the case but it is brilliant, most of the contents of your welcome hamper can be bought here, it’s also good for fresh veg, wild mushrooms, meat and dairy produce, jams, cakes and icecream… well worth a trip.
