Download Festival – Donington Park – 12 to 14 June 2015

Buxton Festival – Buxton – 10 to 26 July 2015
A fusion of opera, literature and music. Events take place in venues all around the town including the Buxton Opera House – where else are you going to find Bill Oddie and Verdi’s Giovanna d’Arco on the same bill?

Stainsby Festival – Stainsby – 17 to 19 July 2015
A folk festival in its 47th year; acts include Brass Monkey, Skinny Lister, Gilmore & Roberts and Artisan. The event also includes crafts stalls, children’s entertainment, music workshops of every kind, a singers competition, storytelling, theatre, poetry, films … etc.

Indie Tracks Festival – Midland Railway Centre, Near Ripley – 24 to 26 July 2015

Y Not? Festival – Pikehall – 31 July to 2 August 2015
Just up the road from us here at Blakelow (not close enough to hear … don’t worry!!). The 2015 line up boasts Snoop Dog, Primal Scream, Basement Jaxx, Super Furry Animals, Ocean Colour Scene, Johnny Marr … and loads more. Has multiple stages as well as food outlets and bars … all the usual festival fodder but with a great, friendly reputation.
